Allergy season
Gay massage can do many things - lower heart-rate, reduce stress (and the consequent damage to long-term health), boost the mood, enhance the sex drive and heal old aches, pains and psychological traumas. However, it shouldn't be regarded as a total cure-all or panacea, no matter how great it is (and it is great, no doubt about it). As we move into allergy season, with hay fever sufferers dreading the oncoming of scratchy eyes and throat, let's look at some of the treatments out there that can make your summer a bit easier.

When is Allergy Season?

The season varies and it all comes down to where you live and what allergies you have. In general, however, we can say that outdoor allergens are most potent during spring, summer and autumn. In spring, the cause tends to be tree pollen, in summer, the villains are different grasses and in autumn, there's an onslaught of wicked weeds adding to your discomfort. It can all get going as early as February and some people actually get year-round symptoms.

What are you allergic to?

You can't protect yourself unless you know the culprit. You need to know what to minimise your exposure to. Some people prepare by giving their homes a good clean to diminish indoor allergens and looking at local allergy forecasts. You also need to get an idea of what medicine works for you. Start treating it as soon as you get your usual symptoms - whether that's runny/congested nose, itchy nose, sneezes, watering eyes and itchy eyes. It's not fun putting up with that lot without help. On the market are anti-histamines of a considerable variety and if you find one that does the trick, you're in luck. You can relax and enjoy the hotter seasons just like anyone else.

Hay Fever

Hay Fever is generally the most publicised of the allergy season afflictions and the one that most sufferers report experiencing. It's also known as allergic rhinitis and is a reaction to pollen from trees, weeds and grass. Children and adults can both be affected. What happens is that the body produces allergic antibodies in reaction to substances ranging from pollen to house dust to mould. As well as the symptoms already mentioned, you can experience headaches, shortness of breath, fatigue and post-nasal drip.

Fight back with a three-pronged attack. 1. Consult the pollen forecasts, 2. On high-pollen days, shower properly and change clothes as well as washing your hair when you get home. 3. Don't dry clothes on outdoor washing lines; keep them inside.

Gay massage is, of course, worth going out for, but you can also alter your regimen by requesting that your masseur makes an out-call to any of the Central London locations on our site, visiting you at home so that you don't make unnecessary trips through the pollen-infested air.
