Consequently, the advice changes all the time and even today, some publications include fiercely-argued polemics to suggest that we’re worrying about nothing and that exactly the same sorts of panics were stirred up when television was new. And in more recent times, we’ve lived through the video-game and video-nasty panics, yet there is still no proper evidence to suggest that video games turn previously placid children into violent killers as the more sensationalistic articles would have us believe.
