Meditation is Key For Relaxation Too

Close your eyes and breathe in a relaxed and even manner. Focus your attention on the top of your head. Feel the sensations that occur in this part of the body. Allow them to be the sole object of your thoughts. Really tune in to this one area. Then, when you’re ready, move down. What does your neck feel like? What are the sensations and messages going on there? By now, you’ve got the drift. You can keep moving down until you’re focusing on the feelings in your toes. Then you’re done. Perhaps the first time you do the body scan, it will help to find a guided version on the internet. But when you’ve got the hang of it, it’s something you can do in 3,5,10 or 30 minutes, depending on your available free time.
