Well, at last, and not before time, there’s a name for it: selfitis. You may have witnessed afflicted parties, on the street, on the train, in restaurants, even at the doctor. Selfitis is the term coined to describe the ailment of being addicted to taking selfies. The era of the smart phone may have revolutionised our lives for the better in many ways. Almost all of us walk around with these small computers in our pockets, but for many people the most important function they possess is the camera. Plenty of users, and not just the younger ones, cannot stop taking selfies for any great length of time and now research suggests that these people have a genuine psychological complex.

Selfitis Can Be Negated By Gay Massage

Fortunately, if you’re a regular attender of gay massage appointments, then you appreciate the benefits of switching off your mobile phone and coming back to the physical world. Sufferers of selfitis are not the only people with a mobile phone illness. There is also the phenomenon of ‘nomophobia’ – the fear of not having your device close at hand. Nottingham Trent University has looked into these psychological illnesses and come up with what they call the ‘world’s first Selfitis Behaviour Scale’, which is designed to help people assess their selfie-related health.

400 subjects from India took part in the study. Researchers chose India because it’s the country with the highest proportion of Facebook users. Now, anyone can use the scale, which is a series of statements with which you can register your level of agreement/disagreement. For example, it includes the statement: “Sharing my selfies creates healthy competition with my friends and colleagues”. You might think that’s a ridiculous assertion and register your response as One (strongly disagree). Alternatively, it might chime with you wholeheartedly, in which case you’d give it a Five (strongly agree). If you’re travelling to gay massage London, you could try using the scale during your journey.

Selfitis is generally thought to be linked to low self-confidence and a desire to fit in with peer groups. Sufferers may also demonstrate addiction in other areas of life. If you think you have a problem, gay massage London, thanks to its relaxing properties, could help build your self-esteem. If you want to assess yourself, the scale has been published here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5182413/Test-fit-selfitis-scale.html
